10th Anniversary National Revolt

On March 27th 1951 Yugoslavia issued this stamp in remembrance of the public revolt in 1941.

On March 25th 1941 the Yugoslav government made a pact with the fascist Germans and joined the "Triple Alliance" consisting of Germany, Italy and Japan. The government did everything in its power to prevent war with the Germans. There was no guarantee in the pact that the Kingdom of Yugoslavia would not be attacked.
However, the people found this pact with the Nazis unacceptable and started to demonstrate against it. An attack was carried out on the government, with General Dusan Simovic in charge. The government was overthrown on March 27th and Dusan Simovic took over.
The German reaction was prompt: the war started on April 7th 1941, and on April 17th the Yugoslav forces surrendered and Yugoslavia was occupied by the Germans.

Ad van Tiel has a (used) postcard with on the frontside the picture that served as the model for the stamp:

The printed text in the upper left on the backside means, according to Google Translate, something like:

The people rescinded joining the Triple Alliance on March 27th 1941
