Personalized stamp sheets Belgium

Personalized stamps are becoming more and more popular all over the world, and almost every postal service offers them at the moment. It is of course most fun to use your own images for your personal stamps, but in addition to the postal services that turn it into a business, there are also many private individuals who do see value in them and offer them to collectors via auction sites such as Delcampe, eBay and Marktplaats.
Although it is of course impossible to build a "complete" collection of these stamps, it is still nice to purchase beautiful and separate personalized stamps from others. For example, we were recently offered a beautiful sheet from the kitchen of the Belgian Sarolea brand.

The sheet showed a few nice pictures on the right side, including the Sarolea logo, and on the left side ten different types of motorcycles of that brand. A nice addition to the collection, especially for the veteran friends who have taken our southern neighbors into their hearts. This sheet was already published in 2018.

In 2019 such a sheet was announced with models from Harley-Davidson, and that one also looks nice. Because the sheet contains twice as many stamps, and the postage rates had got their annual adjustment again, this sheet was a little more expensive. Despite this, the price is not alarming so we signed up for these My-stamp sheets.
But then!!!!! Then the Covid-19 virus strikes. The post is stationary for a long time and traveling across the border is prohibited. It will take until 2021 before the sheets can come to the Netherlands. But they are well worth the wait.

On the sheet 20 Milwaukee icons, both solo and with sidecars.

On the sheet in column three, row five, the darling of many Harley freaks: Harley's war machine, the WLA. The WLA was given this designation because the motorcycle belonged to the "family" W: the Harley equipped with a 740 cc measuring flathead engine, which was developed after an earlier model, the R. The L stands for high compression version. That does seem a bit strange because the model also has a WWA version where the second W stands for low compression (?)
The A means it is an Army version. A slightly heavier version (by weight) was also made for the Canadian army, where the A was replaced by a C for Canadian.

Anyway, especially for Harley Lovers such a sheet will make the heart beat faster.
Until now in the Netherlands it has not been possible for private individuals to use multiple images on one sheet of personalized stamps, but we have heard from an insider that experiments are now ongoing.
